WALTER dual disc wafer type check valve is a one-way water flow valve .Ductile iron body with FBE coating inside and outside Min 250um which by WRAS certification . meet drinking water standards . Spring type design . ductile iron or stainless steel disc . The disc is two semicircles and is forced to return by spring . it have simple structure , small and easy to install . horizontal or vertical installation , Quick to self open and shut off by the water flow and force . high quality and performance.
The wafer type connection can be applied to a variety of flanges.
The design of two valve discs , two torsion springs, a rotating shaft and a balancing device, effectively protect the pipeline, pump.
Feature
1.Deigned to maintain the minimum head loss on the pipeline. Through its short installation length and eye screw (hook), easy to install between two flanges.
2.Can be installed in horizontal or vertical position
3.A partially open disc creates an obstruction that produces a higher pressure drop and fluttering of the valve disc - disturbing the flow and increasing the chance of water hammer.
4.No maintenance needed
